Sad Peyton Manning Bitches AGAIN After Team Loses to Seattle

I figured it’d take a little more than three weeks before Manning decided to call one of his infamous audibles during a post-game press conference. Hell, even part of me thought those days were over.  Like, maybe at the old age of 38, he turned a corner. No more bitching. No more whining. No more crying about the league letting the opposing team slap around your poor receivers or your offensive line failing to block for you.

However, unfortunately the dance continues. His most recent complaint about the overtime coin toss against Seattle puts all his past grumblings to shame.  This past Monday, Manning’s Broncos rallied from an eight point fourth quarter deficit to force overtime. Prior to overtime, the poor son of a bitch called “heads” instead of “tails.” Seattle won the coin toss to the angst of Manning who was probably crying on the bench just like he was during the Super Bowl (see image above).

“It puts a premium on the coin toss,” Manning complained. “I called tails at the beginning of the game, and went with it again in overtime. It was heads, and it proved to be a significant call. But that’s the way it is. And you’d like to not leave it to that, leave it get to that situation.”

Tears Manning tears. Your team had a chance to stop Seattle. That’s the point of the new overtime rules that the league installed last year. Seattle handled the ball first, and if they scored a touchdown, which they did, then your team loses. You want to actually blame someone? Blame your defense, which failed to stop Seattle on two third-downs during overtime as Wilson drove down the field for the game-winning score.
