Dont’a Hightower frequently pressured Matt Cassel in the Patriots 30-7 victory. (Credit: New England Patriots’ AP)   After the Dolphins had crushed their division rival in dramatic fashion last week, the doomsayers were out in full force. And yes, the final score hardly indicated how poorly New England played . Yet, much like they always do, the Patriots rebounded. Kenbrell Thompkins beats out cornerback Brent Griimes. Photo by: Patriots AP Prior to each game, we’ll take a quick peak into who is rising and falling on the Patriots’ depth chart. The Super Bowl is anyone’s game, but a similar record is not out...Continue reading »

During the first half, the Patriots scored 10 points off turnovers and 17 unanswered points; however, Miami gained momentum immediately before halftime after the Patriots gracelessly managed to work their way down field for a 47-yard field goal. Their clumsy drive was a prelude of things to come. While I’m not sold on the Dolphins making a run for the division crown, I am sold on the Patriots’ glaring weaknesses on their offensive and defensive lines. Both were...Continue reading »
